CollegiateTravel Planners

Collegiate Travel Planners (CTP) was chosen as The University of Kansas’ contracted travel agency because of their customer service and experience serving educational institutions. They understands the unique travel needs of our travelers.
CTP provides travel management services to over 165 universities nationwide, and is owned by Corporate Travel Management (CTM) which is based in Australia.

CTP Contact Information

We have two Full-Service agents who only support our University travelers, available to assist with full-service individual and small group bookings, as well as itinerary changes and cancellations.  CTP also provide us a Group agent team for 10+ travelers, and emergency after hours agents to assist our travelers during non-business hours, ensuring 24/7 service and support. CTP even offers free technical assistance for those with error messages while booking in online in Concur Travel.

For Full-Service Agent bookings (1-9 travelers), itinerary changes, cancellations, travel price quotes, or to re-run payment for a flight after a card issue is resolved (P-Card payment issues must be resolved with Mike Lewis (UKANS) or Karen Schaller (KUCR))

Julie Repke

Julie has been in the travel industry for 34 years and has business experience with booking air, car, and hotel with preferred vendors and working with VIP travelers. She previously worked for United Airlines for 18 years and specialized on their International travel desk.

Some fun facts about Julie:
• She has lived in Magnolia, Texas for 17yrs and grew up in Chicago.
• She has a 95lb Golden doodle named Bentley.
• She loves to crochet and read.
• Her favorite travel destinations - Korea, Hong Kong, Switzerland, and Alaska.

Katherine Sampe

Katherine has been in the travel industry for 21 years. She started as a leisure agent, booking reward travel for credit card companies. She has been a Team Lead, an online booking tool technical support specialist, and a corporate travel counselor.

Some fun facts about Katherine:
• She lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
• She loves music and hiking.
• Her bucket list travel destination would be Japan.

CTP Service Fees

CTP services are free for all KU travelers.  All fees for Collegiate Travel Planners travel agency services are paid for centrally by the KU Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
